The word on the street is that MM is no longer around.
The new site is The LinkUp.
If you were a freeloader at MM, all your files are gone.
If you were a paying member, they are promising to send your MM files to your LinkUp account sometime in the near future.

Yes, I guess that's probably right about it only being your files...
But, they did say to me directly in an email that due to the mover tool not working that they would move everyone's account over for them, even those shows loaded before July 2007.

Gil - I initially wrote to them because the Mover Tool that was suppose to be used to move any files prior to July 2007 wouldn't work. They told me that they had to take it down and would just go ahead and move ALL my files over (as well as billions of other people's files).
I've been reading their blog comments and most people's files have not been moved over yet...

Chloe...yeah, but does "prior to July, 2007", mean into all of 2006, or even 2005?

I'm not deleting them from "My Files" page just from the "My Links" page.
If you click on the "Edit My Profile" on TLU it shows what you've shared.
Currently I've sent 589 files (5.3 GB) , they're showing up in my total storage also.
I've uploaded 10 gig,
shared 5 gig
total storage used 15 gig
If I don't upload anymore and just keep sharing, I'll hit my 75gig limit |
