Sweeny Todd Gets Larger Release:
Paramount/Dreamworks SKG will be giving Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street a larger opening than originally planned. The release has been upped to 1500 theaters on December 21. The film was set for a smaller release on the same day, with more theaters in line January 11. Sweeny Todd + Tim Burton + Johnny Depp = $$$$$?
X-Files Continues:
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, David Duchovny confirms that there will be an X-Files 2 and that YES Gillian Anderson will return, although he won’t spill many more beans on the project. Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz are set to write the screenplay and Chris Carter is set to direct. They are looking for a Summer 2008 release date. _________________ Gandalf.....................
