Hi All,
just popping in to say Hi before i go trawling through the forums to see what goes in in them there woods.
My main area of interest is the BBC. I love comedies and have dabbled in the variety area, I would love to lay my hands on some Variety Bandbox. I shall keep looking, but if anyone has a lead on where to get a few of those shows I would really appreciate a heads up. The same goes for any other variety style shows from the BBC.
I am looking forward to being an active member on the forums and hope to be able to contribute in some small way.
All The Best
Paul |

Paul...happy to have you with us! And...as Gary (Airlanes) just said, I'm also inviting you to pull up a Crosley, and enjoy! What part of UK are you from? _________________ Gil |

Thanks for all the great welcomes.
I have my tongue firmly in my cheek most of the time and my mind often wanders of on a tangerine.
I am from a place called Corby in the county of Northampton... it's a smallish place that seems to be growing rapidly

I shant swap Paul!
Last time I went to Corby the works had just closed down and the centre was dead. Glad to hear that it finally started to come up.

Ian...I'm presuming you had to ferry across, to get there . The only time I've been on a ferry was when I was in the U.S. Air Force, and took a trip to Copenhagen. We took a ferry (they loaded the whole train on it...I think), and went from a small German town to Gedser, in Denmark. The train then continued on to Copenhagen. I can't remember the German town, but it was on the coast.
While on the ferry, they had this very long table with smorgesbord on it.
I also remember going outside, and seeing all the sea birds, following the ferry. _________________ Gil |

Actually no Gil, I havent lived my entire life on the Isle of Wight but I must admit that on the older ferries of the Red Funnel line from Cowes to Southampton I have enjoyed many a large chlolestral ruining fry-up with my work colleagues..... smorgasborg! - is that Ryvita?
Now Corby is to the right of Northampton (Big town) but it lacks ferries!
