Mediamax runs a blog site for fellow devotees (or masochists depending on how you look at it?) This was yesterdays offering
============================================
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your patience through our major migration to a new datacenter. The worst of it is behind us. Processing of uploaded files “caught up” late last night for all your files that you uploaded over the last couple days and new uploads should now be in your account. Please note: there is still some bottlenecks in the new system when processing uploaded files, especially large files, so it may take up to a minute for your file to appear in your account after it’s uploaded. Just refresh your browser or click on ‘File Manager’ again to see your recently uploaded files.
We do still have an outstanding problem with downloading some files and thumbnails. When you attempt to download these files, an “ooops and error occurred” message will appear. We are working to resolve this problem as soon as possible.
-Team MediaMax

If you want to bookmark it to check occassionally yourself its

Let's hope that this resolves itself quickly so we can get back to trading again.

I have been able to Download just about everything I can. But I have not been able to use FTP or their uploader/downloader. I have had to use their actual webpage and do it all that way. out of 50 files I had to re download about 5.
What I have been noticing that they have been slowly changing the links for our DLs to the new service. So if I'm Downloading and it stops and says url is not there I have to go back to their page and do the whole finding file and updating the link for my Download Manager. It is a pain in the butt, but I have found that I do not have to do it as much recently. So.....maybe we just have to wait a little longer? |

I've gotten some files out of my MM account tonight.
Anyone want me to try to stream some shows? I have Life with Luigi, The Creaking Door, Family Theatre, Mr. District Attorney, Bible Answer Man, Before the Flood, and some of the DAK OTR-TNT shows in my MM account.

I won't mention too much about Family Theater...but close that list to anyone outside your contacts...if you decide to do this... Right now I'm trying to find higher quality files from what I have in my collection... They've got to be better than the 8...12...16...18...and 24 kbps files that I've found so far...
LWL looks to be good to see what I'm missing... At this posting I have 66 episodes... |

| Anyone else find that even though it will not download it seems to charge what you have selected to your account? In other words if you had tried to download 10 mb it is deducted from your allotted amount of downloads no matter if you have the file or not. |

Threw in the towel today! :icon_eusa_hand:
Even though that I had two months left on my account, I succumbed and cancelled my membership.
In the past 3 weeks, I have cursed this $#&%*^%$^%(&^%#@_ site. Now I got to figure out a spell to purge my memory of MM! |

I haven't been able to upload to MM for three months - I hardly ever download but a few days back I thought I'd try and get brts Lux Theatre ep: Trade Winds - MM told me that I'd been very busy downloading and I wouldn't be able to get any files until 28th August! - I haven't downloaded anything for probably 3 months and then only a few Mbs.
I checked my account and found many inconsistencies - two payments 20 mins apart, a double payment - dates all over the place - US$19.90 in front a few weeks back then suddenly becoming zero (with no downloads!)
Somethings very seriously wrong with MM - I will definitely be cancelling my membership (at US$9.95 a month - supposedly) - but I figure they owe me something before I quit - can I quit?
